You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing detailed monthly management accounts for the Board
- Preparing of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, with support from the Finance Assistants
- Review and submitting of VAT returns and payments
- Provision of other financial reports and analysis as required by the business, including in relations to financial audits
- Banking and cash management
- Supporting the wider business with financial queries
- Acting as a key point of contact for external auditors
- Ensuring timely submission of year-end information
- Monitoring controls, including aged debtors, purchase orders, and payroll
- Participating in the creation of annual operational budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the management team
Role Requirements:
- Previous professional experience in a similar role is preferable
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office suite, with advanced Excel proficiency
- High levels of accuracy & attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive attitude with a commitment to integrity and dedication
- Experience in financial analysis and giving presentations
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, approx. 16 hours per week
